Demod, a new iPhone and iPad app by Alphonse Romero, puts remote software-defined-radio listening tools in a mobile interface aimed at shortwave listeners and amateur operators.
Apple’s current listing says version 1.3 supports KiwiSDR, SpyServer, and rtl_tcp receivers, along with a waterfall display, recording, station identification, and beta decoders for CW, RTTY, PSK31, and FT8. The app can browse public receivers, so listeners can explore signals without owning a local SDR receiver.
